For More Information about Dorper Sheep, Click here!
Our goal is to maintain a core flock of superior Dorper ewes with excellent meat characteristics. From the flock we sell breeding quality animals to help other folks start or improve their own flock. We currently have about 50 fullblood, purebred, and percentage registered ewes. We seek out the best rams we can find to continue to improve the genetic potential of the flock. Any animal we are not proud to sell goes into our commercial pool and helps to pay the feed bills. Our flock is enrolled in the voluntary scrapie program. We've been working on establishing the "R" gene in the flock and we now have a few QR animals for sale. The "R" gene provides resistance to most forms of the scrapie disease.

"Little Susie" Born 11/06, Purebred 31/32ths Sire: RamH Scully Twin, out of my #2 producing ewe. Mother averaged 2 lambs per 12 months over 5 years, great milker and easy lamber! This should be a really good ewe for your flock! And slick hair coat, too. |

"Boots" Born 10/06, percentage 87%, her lambs will be purebred! Twin, her sire is QR. I'm keeping her twin sister because this line of ewes are incredibly hardy, prolific, and parasite resistant. Good bone, good hair coat. |

"Dozer" We saw this ram at the Hill Country Sale, and despite a promise not to buy any more rams, after seeing his daughters and granddaughters, decided he'd look good in our pasture. He weighs in at 253 pounds, and look at the length and depth we admired in his daughters. |
